A personal message from Stephanie…
Many of you reading this will have just endured the most stressful, emotional and difficult time. The loss of a close relative or friend is one of the most traumatic events in our lives and now, in addition, just when things couldn’t seem to get any worse, a funeral director must be contacted.
Over the years funeral directors have had the unenviable reputation of being shadowy, frightening characters and the thought of entering their premises was something to be avoided, if at all possible.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself and hopefully dispel the many preconceived ideas you may have. Firstly, I am a housewife and a mother of 5 children. I trained with and worked initially for Ian Hazel Funeral Limited of Four Oaks before deciding to establish my own firm in 2001. I am very proud to be a funeral director and to be trusted by families at such a difficult time with such important arrangements, it is an honour and a privilege which I never under estimate. I pride myself on offering the highest level of professionalism, understanding and personal service.
As your funeral director I am here to provide the essential guidance and practical help to lead you through the early, difficult stages of making funeral arrangements. The following pages contain the specialist information that I will discuss with you and will enable you to reflect on it in your own time in the privacy of your own home.
You are able to ask any questions that arise and to ask for any particular requests you may have concerning the funeral arrangements. No urgency or undue pressure will be put upon you or your family and you will be given the time to ensure that the arrangements you make reflect the life and character of your relative or friend.
I am a fully qualified Funeral Director and a proud holder of the NAFD Diploma for 20+ years, as well as a qualified independent Funeral Celebrant, specialising in bespoke funeral services, co-creating a service centred around your loved one, their history and their achievements.
From our first conversation I will be by your side, for as long as you need me, taking care of you and your loved one.
